Dear Students and Future Innovators in Cyber Security.
NIET remains committed to enriching the educational experience with practical insights. The canonical core of computer science can be laid out in several ways. We've evolved a unique approach and style throughout the years that stays rooted in the fundamentals while bridging the theory-practical gap. It is our view that those who understand the principles thoroughly and with clarity may adjust to the rapid changes in technology with relative ease. We want the knowledge our students receive to serve as a foundation for a lifetime of learning. A bright future is ensured for every student by the department's top-notch infrastructure and experienced teaching faculty.
Innovation in research, education, and service to industry, the local community, and the profession is highly encouraged. NIET provides a good platform for such proficiencies and I am proud to be a part of it.

Dr. Vineet Kumar +
I had heard a lot about NIET from my colleagues in Chandigarh, so I wanted to
experience all this. As such I decided to join NIET as Assistant Professor in July
2023.After joining here I realized that what good things my colleagues used to say
about our institution was true. Here in NIET, there is a very friendly and warm
environment. The faculty and other staff are very cooperative and understanding.
The Management always think for the growth and development of their staff. In this
short span of six months, I got trained through various online platforms like
Coursera, info springboard etc. There are frequent workshops and faculty
development programmes. To encourage and motivate the employees’ special
awards and rewards are given to star performers, newcomers, researchers etc. on
Annual Day. There is a special R& D dept, innovation lab like IDEA lab, Mercedes
benz lab etc which I feel that is missing in other institutions for our ideas to fulfil. The
credibility of institute can be judged from the fact that it is the only autonomous
institute under the banner of AKTU. The benefit of joining NIET to the students is
high placements. There are giant corporates like Capgemini, Virtuasa, Deloitte,
Amazon etc which are absorbing almost all the students at a very high package
every year. That is why it has huge strength of around 5000 students. The faculties
are paid well based on the experience and qualification and have chance to grow. In
short, I can say that I am really blessed to work in NIET and hope to continue this
journey in the years to come.
