About the Course
This is skill development initiative (Vocational Training) by Mercedes- Benz Academy, India and the institute. The intention of this collaborative vocational program is to produce skilled automotive professionals who can repair and maintain the high end luxury cars and they are conversant with latest automotive technology.

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)
- PEO1:To train aspiring engineers on latest automotive technology using latest, world- class tools and equipments to fulfill the need for skilled human resources in automotive field.
- PEO2:To develop multi-disciplinary competency amongst engineers to cater to the contemporary automotive technology.
- PEO3: To develop various soft skills and in particular thorough communication skills.
Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs)
After completion of this course the students will be able to:
- PSO1: Remove & install components of a car
- PSO2: Measure mechanical, electrical and electronics parameters for systems and components used in a car.
- PSO3: Carry out PDI (Pre- Delivery Inspection) and Maintenance of a car.
- PSO4:Read and interpret the wiring diagrams of vehicle systems.
- PSO5:Use modern diagnostic equipments.
- PSO6:Diagnose various faults and rectify the same.
- PSO7:Communicate with customers and others for technical issues on the vehicle.
