Mr. Chandrasekhar Chenniappan (Chandru) is an astute HR professional with over two decades of experience spanning across service industry, information technology and research and development organizations.

Chandru is part of the Talent Management Team of Virtusa, playing the role of location HR Head for their Bangalore centre and leads the HR function for Virtusa’s Engineering Practices.

Chandru has over 23+ years of experience in the field of Human Resource Management and has played variety of roles spanning Resource Management, Business Partnering, Employee Relations, Recruitment, and General Management.

Prior to joining Atmel Corporation, Chandru was with Hewlett-Packard, IGATE Global Solutions, Polaris Software, Kumaran Systems, and The CHILDS Trust Hospital.

During his stint at Hewlett-Packard, he was recognized with the prestigious award of Most Valuable Person (MVP) for the Year 2012, the Highest Recognition for any employee at HP for his contribution to the Business Unit which he was supporting at Hewlett-Packard.

Chandru actively participates as a speaker in HR forums, summits and associated with various academic institutions in Tamil Nadu. He is also the Member of Board of Studies in various institutions.
